There will be 5 Stroke Clinics total, one for each stroke and one for dives & turns/finishes. We have received good feedback about these clinics from previous years and it is a great way to get small group instruction on specific strokes. This is open to ALL Rapid swimmers and will be $20 in cash per swimmer per clinic. If interested in attending any of these clinics, please confirm your spot by declaring your swimmer AND give your $20 to either Coach Jaedyn or Chenin at practices leading up to stroke clinics. You do not need to declare your swimmer if you are not planning on attending any clinics.

Picture day will be Wednesday, June 7th! Wear your team suit and team shirt over for the team for the team photo. Individual pictures are in your team suit! (Ripples be sure to wear your shirts.). Everyone gets a shirt with registration so all swimmers have a shirt! Individuals Pictures will start at 9 am, team photo at 9:45 am, and they will finish the remaining individual photos by 11 am.

The Rapids do not require that our swimmers wear our GC suits (but we’d love if you did); however, if you choose to not purchase a GC swimsuit to wear for our meets you will need to have your child wear an all black suit. In addition, we take a team photo each year and only those swimmers in our GC suits or all black suits will be able to join the team for picture day. If your child has grown, you are new to the team, or are just in need of a new suit, please make it a point to stop by the clubhouse on Saturday, March 25^th anytime between 9 am-noon. Reddiset will be present with suits for our swimmers to try on and any additional needs for your swimmers – googles, swim bags, and more.

Registration for Ripples opens March 1^st as well; however, acceptance will be pending our try out session held on Sat. April 22. We will accept registrations for up to 40 swimmers with the notion that only the first 30 who qualify to participate will be able to join the team. If your swimmer does not qualify or is not accepted, we will refund your entire registration fee. Children who have never been on our team before or were not yet promoted to Rapids in 2022 season, will need to attend our try-out day*, Saturday, April 22, for acceptance into the program. The exact time will be posted and promoted as we can secure coaches attendance.
