ASA Information
Atlanta Swim Association (ASA) is the league we swim under during the summer season. Your ASA dues pay their fees and give your swimmers insurance under their policy while in the pool and on deck. The ASA Rules and Regulations gives you an outlook on the volunteer positions and duties as well as scoring and rules for the meets. ASA Sportsmanship gives you the sportsmanship rules required by the league.

ASA Championship Meet
ASA is our summer swim league, and the league championships are held at GA Tech at the end of the regular season. 2026 ASA Championships start the week of June 22nd. This meet consists of 3 days of ALL the swimmers from across the Atlanta area in the whole of the ASA Summer Swim League. The days are broken down into two sessions where each division competes in the pool against each other. The GC Rapids session is on Friday, June 26 in the morning. This is our last meet at Georgia Tech. This meet begins at 9 am and ends at 1 pm. We ask that ALL Rapids swimmers attend this meet. Why? This is an experience of a lifetime for many of our swimmers. It’s a time to make memories they will never forget getting to swim in the ‘96 Olympic Pool. Unlike a dual meet, the top 40 swimmers of EACH event score points for the team. This means just about ALL our Rapids are point winners for our team during this meet! At this event ALL Forsyth County teams will be attending, making this a great day of county comradery and competition with the best sportsman of their age. As soon as possible, please go to the team unify site and declare yes for this meet if you can attend.
It is very important to make sure you can bring your kids to Georgia Tech (750 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA) on June 26th before you commit and declare. The league fines us for any late changes so please clear your calendars as these fines will be passed onto you based on the swimmer who has late changes.
Again, there is a meet entry fee for all swimmers who want to attend the ASA Championship of $50 (this is an increase of $2 over last year's fees). This is in addition to any dues/fees you have already paid. Meet fees will be paid to Grand Cascades Swim Team via check (Include your swimmer’s name on the memo line) and then the team writes one check to ASA.
